ah-mok: A traditional Cambodian curried fish dish in coconut milk with kroeung, either steamed or baked in banana leaves.

Founded in 2015 by humble Khmer native chef Woody Chet, amok is delighting diners with a unique modern Cambodian dining experience.

If you're unable to make your reservation, please contact us 24 hours in advance so we can release your table. As a small restaurant, we appreciate the courtesy for other guests.

Australia's only modern Cambodian restaurant


Bringing experience from celebrated Coda and Tonka, and influence from his mother, chef Woody Chet shares his modern interpretation of his homeland's flavours with local ingredients to create punchy South East Asian flavours. 


Chef Chet's passion for the culinary arts has won him national accolades, namely the Most Outstanding Apprentice Chef award at the Australian Culinary Federation’s Fine Foods competition in 2013. His awarded gold medal Cambodian duck curry dish features proudly on the menu.

BYO (wine only) is available on Wednesday and Thursday ($10 corkage per bottle). There’s no BYO on Friday and Saturday.

Experience modern Cambodian cuisine in the comfort of your own home with chef prepared ready to heat meal packs saving you the hassle and time. Simply cook in 20 minutes! 


Or choose from our new celebration hamper boxes for your or a loved one that needs TLC in the home dining department. You can also tailor your boxes with additional meals and beverages at a special price. 

Preorder celebration boxes and ready to heat meals by 9pm Thursday, for delivery between 11am - 5pm on Friday and Saturday.
