ah-mok: A traditional Cambodian curried fish dish in coconut milk with kroeung, either steamed or baked in banana leaves.

Founded in 2015 by humble Khmer native chef Woody Chet, amok is delighting diners with a unique modern Cambodian dining experience.

Reservations can be made online via the white 'book now' button above. Adhering to COVID safe guidelines, we have two dining sessions available, 6pm and 8pm. If you're unable to make your reservation, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can release your table for other guests.

Available for pick up (12pm to 9pm, Wednesday to Saturday) or delivery on Thursday to Saturday mornings.

Australia's only modern Cambodian restaurant

Bringing experience from celebrated Coda and Tonka, with influence from his mother, chef Chet shares his modern interpretation of his homeland's culinary flavours using local ingredients to create punchy South East Asian flavours. 


Chef Chet's passion for the culinary arts has won him national accolades, namely the Most Outstanding Apprentice Chef award at the Australian Culinary Federation’s Fine Foods competition in 2013. His awarded gold medal Cambodian duck curry dish features proudly on the menu.

BYO (wine only) is available on Wednesday and Thursday with a $10 corkage per bottle. There’s no BYO on Friday and Saturday.

We'll arrange any special dietary requirements, drop-off and pick up times or let us know if you want us to use the venue's kitchen. We cater for lunch and dinner functions, big and small.
