Just lovin' the love

Awww shucks Melburnites, you are too sweet.

We can almost still smell the fresh paint but the wonderful responses you have shared reminds us that time has flown. It's like our birthday and we're reading well wishes written on birthday cards, except that it's 2015 and everything is written in cyberspace now. Even the word cyberspace is now obsolete.

A shout out to you kind souls who have taken the time to post a review on Zomato for us. Thanks for the love, we thought we dedicate this post to share what you think of us.

"Fantastic food, great service and a really friendly atmosphere - thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back again. I liked how the food was fairly authentic but in a way that white people can enjoy it. Nice rich and fresh food."

"Fantastic Cambodian food. Very fresh and delicious flavours similar to Vietnamese. Very good service and friendly staff. Will be going back to try some different dishes. Definitely worth trying this new restaurant."

"Wonderful food - every dish we ordered was delicious - service was exceptional. 5 hats standard at extremely reasonable prices. A must visit for anyone who loves food." Maureen Rudy, 13 October 2015

"We had an impromptu dinner here and the food is superb . We spent 60 a head for 6 courses including a bottle of wine. Absolutely sensational value for the quality of food we ate and we didn't leave hungry."

-Miguel Sanchez Robertson, 8 October 2015

"Great food and even better customer service. We had the crispy prawn roll with the chocolate bacon - delish, cured salmon betel leaf - devine, the twice cooked beef ribs - definitely a must try and finished off with the vanilla coconut cream dessert. We ended up rolling ourselves out of Amok, satusfied. Definitely on the shortlist of favourites and coming back."

"Amok is an absolute treasure. The food is fresh, creative and full of flavour. We found out tonight that the chef is an ex-Tonka and Coda chef and the food definitely lives up! Highly recommend the betel leaf with cured salmon, beef short ribs and duck curry. Cosy atmosphere and great service!"

"Absolutely delightful experience both interms of aesthetics with recycled seating and the cuisine. The chef was a master of flavours, the playful fusion with authentic Cambodian spices will leave your pallet wanting for more. From oysters and beatle leave entree to fresh calamari saldas and The AMOK fish curry was nothing less than a trip to food paradise. The pleasant smile every time you talk to the staff adds to the experience. #MustVisit"

"Greeted by friendly staff on a cold winter evening. Small but flavoursome menu. We shared 2 of the medium plates and particular enjoyed fish popcorn starter. Spicy and delicious. Main course fish amok with rice. Will definitely be coming back."

"A delicious dining experience. This restaurant served up complex, fragrant dishes that left me satisfied and full, and planning to go back soon! Staff were excellent - helpful and made good recommendations. The contemporary Cambodian soundtrack was a great accompaniment to contemporary Cambodian food. Will return to explore more of the menu as soon as possible and will bring friends and family. Highly recommended."

Let's continue to feast and be merry!
